TUNISIA 1988 - RESULTS FROM THE DEMOGRAPHIC AND HEALTH SURVEY

The Tunisia Demographic and Health Survey (TDHS) was conducted by the National Office of Family and Population, within the framework of the Program of the Institute for Resource Development/Macro Systems. The TDHS was a nationally representative self-weighting sample survey. Data were collected from 5645 households and complete interviews were conducted with 4184 ever-married women aged 15-49. Fieldwork for the survey took place between June and October 1988. The summary statistics present below were taken from the Tunisia country report. -from Author
