DEVELOPING SUPPORT FACILITIES FOR BYUS BIBLIOGRAPHIC INSTRUCTION PROGRAM

To be effective in today's computerized environment, bibliographic instruction programs must include appropriately modern facilities. Instruction rooms that incorporate patron-use computers and related electronic equipment allow librarians to demonstrate and students to practice using various new information technologies. This article examines how librarians at one university developed a proposal for, helped design, and obtained funding for a new BI facility.
