摘要：
One of the tasks in popular music arrangement is to determine a rhythm pattern to accompany a given melody. Musical rhythm can be thought of as repeated recurrences in alternate heavy and light beats. In this paper, we shall describe a method to assign rhythm pattern(s) to a given melody, and then show how to implement thc method on computer by a fast algorithm.
