摘要
[Fe2(SC4H9)5]-, the first compound containing FeS4 tetrahedra which share common faces, has been synthesized by reaction of FeCl2 with sodium 2-methyl-2-propanethiolate and characterized by X-ray diffraction methods. The sulfur framework of this novel iron thiolate complex is a trigonal bipyramid which surrounds two iron atoms 2.634 angstrom apart from each other. The use of 2-propanethiolate ligands results in the formation of [Fe2(SC3H7)6]2-, a binuclear complex with two bridging thiolate ligands.
