摘要
Calcia stabilised zirconia (CSZ) is destabilised by aluminum oxide, silica and other oxides at elevated temperatures. The product of destabilisation, termed partially destabilised zirconia (PDZ), resembles partially stabilised zirconia (PSZ). This paper attempts to correlate the improved thermal shock resistance of PDZ with the phase inversion of the free zirconia, generated as a consequence of destabilisation.
