摘要
The job satisfaction and job involvement relationship as moderated by individual need strength, intrinsic motivation and focus of motivation (taking personal responsibility, doing large quantities of work, doing high quality work) has been studied on a sample of 160 employees of Diesel Locomotive Works located in Varanasi. The individual Need Strength Scale, Experienced Work Motivation Scale, Job Involvement Scale and General Job Satisfaction Scale were administered to the employees. Moderated regression analysis and sub-group analysis strategies were adopted in the present investigation. Moderated regression analysis and sub-group analytical strategy yielded a significant moderating effect of individual need strength and motivation on the job satisfaction-job involvement relationship.
