摘要
We consider the low-Reynolds-number motion of small particles and droplets in the most general unbounded quadratic flows. The fluid velocity and pressure fields are obtained by means of a vectorial formulation of Lamb's general solution, providing a compact representation for the requisite flow field. The leading-order deformation of the droplet from its initial spherical shape is also calculated.
