摘要
By using the Euclidean action and the semi-classical approach, the statistical mechanics of a three dimensional (3D) gas of non-spinning Banados, Teitelboim and Zaneli black holes is discussed. We have found that, unlike the 4D and 2D black hole gases, both the microcanonical ensemble and the canonical ensemble can be used to describe the thermodynamical properties of a 3D gas at any temperature. No critical temperature can exist.
