摘要：
From the Tanford theory for the formation of spherical micelles and a modification of this theory, the aggregation number n(w) and monomer concentration x1 are calculated as a function of total surfactant concentration x. The definition of cmc of d3x1/dx3 = 0 is adequate. Empirical equations for the estimation of n(w) and cmc are obtained.
