摘要
The case of a dangerous cervical spine injury is presented from the perspective of the family doctor and manual therapist. An elderly patient with a fracture of the dens axis first developed neurological symptoms 4 days after the trauma. The early evaluation of the situation using the criteria of the Canadian C-spine rules could possibly have helped to diagnose the fracture earlier.
