摘要
the Silvopasture is a cattle production system in where ligneous the perennial ones (trees and/or shrubs) interact with the traditional components (forager crops and animals) under a system of integral handling, it has been raised with base in investigative results, like an alternative of sustainable production that allows to reduce the environmental impact of the traditional systems of production. In addition they are designed to obtain a logable product of high quality while it in the short term provides an entrance derived from the cattle ranch. The interaction between trees, forage crops and cattle is handled to obtain products (timber, forage crop of high quality, cattle), of simultaneous way, intensive and efficient. In general, the silvopastoral systems can simultaneously provide economic income that creates a sustainable system with many environmental benefits. When these systems well are administered, they offer a variety of opportunities for trade that can help to stimulate the development of the rural economy.
