Innovation management in companies that adopt different the decision-making process

摘要
The innovation provides competitive advantage to business, for it must be incorporated as a activity continuous and systemic, manage innovation involves and depends in large part of people, so this study has as an objective analyze the innovation management in companies on which the decision-making process is carried only by owners and those in which this process occurs by owners with the participation of employees. For data collection a questionnaire was developed, using as benchmark the Oslo Manual. The companies were separated into two different groups decision-making, in order to relate the results of each group with the answers to each question. Were evidenced significant differences in manage innovation in the different groups, mainly in relation the process innovation, the group which involves the employees in decisions presented a much higher percentage companies that innovated in the period, this same group presented a oriented culture for recognition and valuation human resources, offering oriented courses for professional qualification.
