摘要
Life quality and well-being are relevant clinical criteria for the evaluation of therapeutic interventions in the elderly. Therefore suitable diagnostic instruments are necessary. In the present paper, the psychometric quality of the EUROHIS-QOL and the WHO 5-item Well-Being Index (WHO-5) is evaluated in a sample of n = 744 elderly in the age of 60 years or older (51% female). Reliability of both instruments is high (Cronbach's alpha = .86 and .92, respectively). The theoretically assumed one-dimensional factorial structure could be proved for the WHO-5, but not for the EUROHIS-QOL for which a two-dimensional factorial structure was shown (personal and external factors of life quality). Frequency values, mean values and percentile ranks are presented as reference data for the elderly. No age-specific or sex-specific differences were found.
