摘要
Aim. Cardiovascular diseases are observed more frequently in patients with gout as compared to other rheumatologic pathologies. Methods and results. 120 patients with gout were examined to study the frequency of cardiovascular risk in patients combined with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). To determine cardiovascular risk SCORE chart was used, the diagnosis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease was confirmed by share wave elastography. Conclusion. In patients with gout and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease there is increasing of cardiovascular risk level, low cardiovascular risk is found in 16.2%, moderate in 25.0%, high in 19.1% and very high risk in 39.7% of cases. Among patients without associated liver injury another tendency is observed, particularly low risk was found in 32.7%, moderate in 40.4%, high in 17.3% and very high risk in 9.6% of cases. Risk factors for cardiovascular disease in patients with gout combined with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease include hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, hyperuricemia, smoking, an increase of patients' age, body mass index. The level of hyperuricemia was significantly (p<0.01) higher among patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease patients and increased together with increasing risk of cardiovascular catastrophes.
