摘要
Although the importance of micro, small and medium-sized companies in Costa Rica is recognized, there is a lack of proper information that can help make and evaluate decisions to support these companies. From the National Universities Rector Commission (CONARE in Spanish) an observatory for these companies has been taking form. In this article the national support environment to micro, small and medium-sized businesses is analyzed, most recent data is presented, the nature of the observatory is defined and the degree of advance of the project is presented.
