摘要：
The development of an effective preventive vaccine against the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is an urgent national and international priority. However, a number of formidable obstacles, encompassing biomedical, logistic, economic, social, and psychosocial concerns, must be overcome to ensure the proper distribution and use of an HIV vaccine once it is developed.
