摘要：
The literature published on point-of-testing between January 2007 and October 2007 was reviewed. The field of point of care testing (POCT) has focused on the clinical utility of POCT including demonstrating through evidence-based medicine its advantages over central laboratory testing and ensuring the accuracy of test results. This article provides a brief description of articles published in 2007 related to POCT with a focus on recent guidelines and the field of diabetes, cardiac markers, and infectious disease.
