摘要
The paper deals with imperfective verbs in analytic explications of meaning of Russian nouns. In most cases such a verb has gnomic meaning. The goal of this article is to show that some Russian nouns contain a semantic component denoting the moment of speech or some other fixed moment. Therefore, these nouns should be explicated with imperfective verbs in continuous meaning. Several Russian nouns of this type are described. They belong to different semantic groups. Some of them denote spatial objects; others are nomina agentis; still others denote emotions or desire. Nouns denoting something/somebody existing at the moment of speech or some other fixed moment seem to be rare in Russian. Careful analysis of Russian vocabulary is required to discover them.
