摘要：
The paper discusses the invariant meaning and specific meanings of the Imperfective Aspect in modern literary Russian in terms of the views characterizing the invariant meaning as a unchangeability. In addition to the traditionally identified specific imperfective meanings (e.g., actual-durative and experiential meanings), the paper proposes to identify the non-actual-durative meaning with the repetitive meaning as one of its sub-varieties.
