ELECTROMEMBRANE METHOD FOR REGENERATION OF SOLUTIONS USED FOR GAS TREATMENT IN ALUMINUM PRODUCTION

摘要：
An electromembrane method is proposed for the desalination and regeneration of solutions for gas treatment used in aluminum production, by means of a four-chamber electromembrane cell with one cation-exchange and two anion-exchange membranes. The method permits removing salts from the solution down to predetermined concentrations.
