摘要
This article provides an overview of a certain non-contact method to measure surface strain. The theoretical background of this method is based on the cross-correlation of laser-speckle patterns, which are changing in an deterministic way due to loading the specimen. The method is usually used to determine thermal or mechanical material parameters. As an application the result of a Young's modulus measurement is shown. Furthermore, two different measurement set-ups are introduced, whose geometries display both simplicity and robustness.
