Entrepreneurship in Ecuador, as well as in other countries, is the engine of economic growth of nations and a mechanism for resolving governments in times of crisis, where they pay special attention and even motivation for innovative ideas. It is noted that in recent years female entrepreneurship has increased considerably as the means for women to develop personally and professionally, due to different causes such as financial crisis in the countries and independence towards their own achievements. This is why the research carried out is based on quantitative methodology based on the analysis of the survey whose objective is to determine the reasons for business closure by Ecuadorians and especially the variables that differentiate entrepreneurs, data also provided by the TEA Entrepreneur Activity Rate. The results obtained reflect that Ecuadorians undertake, by necessity, with little experience in the sector and without a prior study of it, the boom that business activity has in women, shows parity in the opportunities to undertake for both female and male, as well as which is the area where they most wish to undertake.
