摘要
In this paper we present measurements of the lifetime of the optical cycle of the F-H center in KBr:OH- obtained by means of a pump and probe technique with picosecond resolution. Different behavior has been observed before and after the F --> F-H conversion. The temperature dependence of the nonradiative process shows that its activation energy is of about 100 cm(-1), the same order of magnitude of the local mode energy of the F center.
