摘要
Observed dry deposition velocities Of O3 over a wet deciduous forest, wetted by dew or rain, were compared with those above a dry forest. The observations were collected, using the eddy correlation technique, for the summer and late winter seasons. For SO2, data were available only for the late winter. Results indicated that the dew-wetted forest was at times a mom efficient sink for O3, but on the average the strength of the sink was about the same as for a dry canopy. Contrary to the findings of some previous studies, the rain-wetted forest appeared to inhibit the uptake of O3. For SO2, the uptake was enhanced when the forest was wetted by dew or rain.
