摘要
Power training is more than just muscle work especially when dealing with alcohol addicts. Power and endurance training is oriented to the principles of "gentle power training" while considering sensation for subjective stress. This is an important component of sport therapy at the Schweriner Sea Clinic. Besides body training, muscle build-up training also has to do with several psycho-social objectives. Emphasis is put on aspects like personal (self) and partner responsibility, possibilities and limits, communication and behaviour in problem solving. Improvement in the patients' performance capability in power training is a pointer to the effectiveness of the muscle buildup training at the body-level and offers a sustainable confirmation of the hitherto carried out studies. Based on the experience gained in many years of training at Schweriner Sea Clinic, targeted power training offers possibilities and priorities which go beyond body development. Moreover, power training in a group enriches the elements of sport therapy in the addiction sphere.
