摘要
The relationship between learning styles and academic achievement in distance learning college students is analyzed following three studies: Results reveal that Theoretic and Active Learning Styles predominate in undergraduate students while no postgraduate preferences were shown. There is a relationship between undergraduate level (Theoretical Learning Style) and postgraduate level (Reflexive and Pragmatic Learning Styles) A moderate relation was observed between the Study Habits areas of Environment and Assimilation, and academic achievement. Topic interest and perceived ability to do two or more activities are factors that could be related to academic achievement. Finally, recommendations are included. The continuity of research is suggested in order to consolidate distance learning at the college level.
