摘要：
The greater part of the bee bibliography indicates that in a bee colony in full development there are more adult than immature individuals. Our research does not confirm this position and we are inclined to support the hypothesis, which at the moment in the field of bee studies is a minority one, that the development models present in other hymenopteran societies are also true of the bee.
