摘要：
The paper emphasizes the importance of paradoxa for the progress of economic thougt. Affirmative statements and generalizations of existing theories can be useful, but well founded provocative and paradox statements are more likely to contribute to the progress. The paper demonstrates this by reporting and commenting on a number of economic paradoxes in detail.
