摘要：
The principal operational requirement for a warship damage control system is to assure the timely and informed application of the resources of the ship, both men and equipment, to the containment and control of major battle damage. In order to meet this requirement, the damage control system must first survive the initial damage, and then provide the capability for the damage control team to develop and implement a realtime, informed strategy to first contain and then control damage. The damage control solution has five parts, which are discussed.
