摘要：
This research examines empirically the adoption of logistics process technologies in 187 U.S. manufacturing organizations. Strategic planning process variables are better predictors of the adoption of information technology (software) than data technology (EDI, hardware). Individual variables associated with the senior logistics executive predict technology adoption with mixed results. Size predicts the adoption of all the technologies in the study with equal consistency.
