摘要
The web-contest is a research activity carried out with funds and information found on the Internet by students in supplies pre-selected by teachers. According to Barato (2012) the web- contest resembles to treasure hunt, but it differs from it because it offers, beyond the issues, challenges and quests that guide students in building knowledge, and discovery of information not only on the Internet. The web- contest, when well planned, can become an enriching activity, because it enables students to make quick reads, but insightful, of texts and images from the Internet, it promotes the interests of both the subject that is addressed in the study program as well as in the consolidation and evaluation of learning activities, as well as providing, given its interactivity, the cooperative use of information, questioning, arid critical application of the elements of the curriculum covered in the classroom This strategy, by proposing curious, surprising, thought-provoking and entertaining questions, provides enjoyment of the game, and creates compelling conversation about it, imagination, taste for research and interest from students.
