Effect of Induced Magneticfield on MHD Stagnation Point Flow of a Nanofluid Over a Stretching Cylinder with Suction

摘要
This study presents a numerical solution for MHD stagnation-pint flow of a nanofluid over a stretching cylinder with induced magneticfield, non-uniform heat source/sink and suction effects. The governing boundary layer equations are transformed to set of non-linear ordinary differential equations by using self similarity transformation and solved numerically using shooting technique. The effects of dimensionless governing parameters on velocity, induced magneticfield and temperature profiles are discussed and presented through graphs. Also, found the friction factor and local Nusselt number. Comparisons of the present study made with the existed studies and found an excellent agreement with the existed studies. Results indicate that an increase in the magneticfield parameter enhances the momentum boundary layer thickness in presence of induced magneticfield.
