摘要
This text aims at presenting the way it took to elaborate a curricular proposal for basic education I in Sao Bernardo do Campo, in school physical education area for the basic education I - first years. I coordinated the elaboration of the curricular proposal of the area in collaboration with another person(ii) from the Group of Educational Guidance in the Education Department of the county, during the year 2006. Some aspects of the initial diagnostics which were used to investigate the practice of Physical Education at schools and the line of thinking, with a view to exceed the traditional ways of approaching the area, with an emphasize on instrumental role of the movement will be taken into account. This process occurred with a theoretical assessment of the authors who treat the studies and critical analysis of Bodily Manifestations of Culture, considering the need for taking up school educational practices, which characterize elements of bodily culture of the movements. The intention of varied bodily manifestations is connected to historical, political, social contexts and they need to raise debates in schools to contribute to changes. We approach methodological options of the process concluding around the need for extending the debates as such a proposal cannot be a finished document but a work in progress.
