DEFORMATION DAMAGE THEORY OF MATERIALS AND ITS APPLICATION TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE DEFORMATION PROCESS OF SQUARE PLATES

摘要
The paper deals with assumptions of deformation damage theory and its application to the analysis of plate deformation. Introducing a tensor damage parameter of the second order as an internal parameter, it is possible to present a general constitutive equations for materials subjected to a quasistatic process of deformation and damage in the elastic range. Particularly, a case of uncoupled damage in plane stress is considered. As application of the proposed model the analysis of the deformation process in plates made of damaging elastic-brittle and brittle-plastic materials is presented.
