A complex thermal analysis of Berezovo coals with different degrees of oxidation was conducted. A new experimental-calculation method of evaluating the kinetics of complex multistage processes of thermal decomposition of coal was developed. The kinetic characteristics of thermal decomposition of Berezovo coal were determined and their correlation with its initial quality was established. The necessity of considering the specific features of thermal decomposition of Berezovo coal as a function of the degree of oxidation was demonstrated in calculating and planning real technological installations for thermal processing of coal.
