EXPERIENCES IN EAD AND THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES

This article discusses a report of the academic experience Degree in Education at the Open University of Brazil At the Federal University of Alagoas, highlighting the relevance of the use of Information and Communication Technology in education, especially, the computer, the virtual learning environment and the Internetas a relevant and necessary factor for the development of distance education courses. These distance courses primarily wait on users who live in the countryside of the state and are unable to move to the city to take part on courses in the capital. It contributes significantly to the development of the region and therefore to an improvement in educational quality, since the students are mostly teachers of basic education of the public and municipal network of the state.
