摘要：
The occurance of field vole (Microtus arvalis P a ll.) was confirmed on Spitsbergen, i. e. area lying far outside the common distribution of small earth mammals. Two female of this species were caught and two nests recovered in the locality Grumantbyen (West Spitsbergen, Isfjord). The rodent was found to live under Spitsbergen conditions not only synanthropically but also perennially in free nature. Two mite species (Acarina) determined the fur and nests of these Microtus arvalis: Laelaps hilaris (Koch) and Haemogamasus ambulans (Thorell).
