摘要
Laser action was achieved in mixtures of N2F4-H-9. N2F4-B2H6. and NF3-H-2 at a pressure range of 10-250 torr using a 1.4- MeV. 50-nsec pulsed beam of electrons to initiate the chemical reaction volumetrically. The laser emission. in the region 2.7 mu. is attributed to HF. a combustion product. Techniques and results are compared with flashlamp-initiated lasing of the same materials.
