摘要
Approaching the measurement of employment represents an interest zone from national accounts perspective, not only from social statistics point of view. The base national accounts aggregates as Gross domestic product, Final consumption of households, Value added by industries, Compensation of employees have more sense when they are compared with number of inhabitants and representative variables of employment (total population, civil population, labour force, employment, total hours worked). In order to be comparable, concepts regarding employment should be treated based on European System of Accounts version 1995 that regulates the estimation of macroeconomic aggregates. Elaboration of a methodology specific to information available at the level of National Statistical System represents a priority for Romanian national accountants. This imposes a laborious analyse of the concepts used within various data sources, and their proper use. Even the central data source for employment in Romania remains Labour force survey, the comparison with national accounts data implies a specific preparation, according to European System of Accounts version 1995, applied also in Romania.
