摘要：

National accounting, as an important part of the economical informational system, has the role of coordinating the present, of knowing the past and of foretelling the future. The implementation in Romania of the New National Accounting System has been achieved based on the concepts and the methodological principles of the European System of National and Regional Accounts from the year 1995 (SEC 95), that is perfectly coherently with the version of the National Accounts System from 1993. Adopting this national accounting system has representing a step forward and a quality leap on the line of accomplishing the reforms in the accounting field and accomplishing the requirements for integration in the European Union.
