Blind sidewalk complete with handrails, intelligent audio guides, touch-based flora introduction, arc-shaped resting chairs... Wandering in the barrierfree garden of the Xuanwu Lake Park in Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu Province, people handicapped with eye problems can walk by the rippling lake, smelling the fragrance of flowers and enjoying the singing of birds. They can also identify their location by dint of handrails or through the scent of flowers, and appreciate plants based on the induction-type voice-guided broadcasting facilities.
