摘要
This study examines the empirical literature on the disparate treatment of African Americans. A review of the literature is offered from a historical standpoint. The utility of thematic content analysis and the use of coding frames is described in the methodology. The next section describes the emergent themes in the literature. Last, there is discussion about the criminogenic nature of the health care profession. Policy implications are offered.
