Letf be a multiplicative function and letΨf(x, y) denote the incomplete multiplicative sum Σn≤x,P(n)≤y f(n), whereP(n) denotes the greatest prime factor ofn. A Buchstab- and a Hildebrand equation forΨf(x, y) are derived.
