Alloys VZhL738, VZhL792 and VZhL939 developed FSUE VIAM for casting large rotor blades and nozzle vanes for medium and high power from 25 to 280 MW and higher gas turbines will ensure technological independence of the Russian Federation from foreign suppliers. Industrial technology for producing these alloys providing import substitution is also created and developed as an alternative to overseas supplies. In addition, single-crystal corrosion-resistant heat-resistant alloys (VZHL738M and economically alloyed materials) with improved heat resistance at operating temperatures up to 1000°C for prospective new generation gas turbines are developed. © 2020, Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.
