摘要
A plane metal disk rotating at a constant angular velocity is considered. Above the disk, there is a dielectric fluid containing a small amount of a foreign electrolyte. The electrolyte contains positive and negative ions and is assumed to be strong. The charging of the fluid is determined by the electrochemical reactions that take place at the disk surface. The effect of an electric field on the charging process is taken into account.
