Influence of Microplasticity on the Static and Dynamic Elastic Moduli of Rocks

Using the analysis of experimental data as the base, it is shown that the difference in the values of static and dynamic elastic moduli of rocks is governed by viscoelastic and microplastic mechanisms of deformation, provided the stresses do not exceed the proportionality limit.
