摘要
The number of adults with mental disability seeking primary dental care is increasing. Some patients may not be able to give a valid consent.Treatment without consent is unlawful.No-one else can give consent on behalf of an adult patient.A dentist has a duty to help and provide care that is in the 'best interests' of patients unable to decide for themselves.
