The study investigates the thermodynamic state of ice in direct contact with particles of soil. N. A. Tsytovich's model is analyzed, and a scheme for the flow of heat and moisture, which determines the rheologic behavior of frozen soil, is proposed. The indicated scheme can be used (adopted as a basis) for quantitative evaluation of the flow of moisture toward the periphery, pores, and distinct inclusions of ice with subsequent freezing.
