Violation of the Rules for the Use of Internet Resources: About Plagiarism and Citation Errors

The example of the educational environment shows how the attitude to the norms of Internet resource use has changed over the years of the pandemic. The basic concepts characterizing the borrowing of information are considered, the reasons for incorrect handling of other people’s works are named. Semantic errors of citation, typical violations of the rules of registration of the borrowed text are determined. A systematization of the main citation types of errors is proposed.
