Abstract: This article describes the operation of four-roll passes for rolling of nonsymmetrical flange channel sections. Transformation reasonability of existing two-high mill stands into universal ones is exemplified by channel section rolling at linear rolling mill. Technology and equipment are developed for fabrication of channel sections using four-roll finishing pass at medium section mill 550. Commercial verification of the proposed technical solutions confirmed their maintainability and reasonability regarding the application of rolling mills of such types fabricating nonsymmetrical flange profiles. © 2021, Allerton Press, Inc.
